Since it can’t generate its own electricity, it sticks onto large-bodied Pokémon and absorbs static electricity.

I just played a Night March mirror. The game lasted 5 turns, with 10 prizes taken between the two of us. This deck is silly fast.

Obviously neither of you played Lysandre’s Trump Card. How do you think that affects the matchup, is it easy to quickly recover from?

Trump Card is mildly annoying, but it isn’t difficult to set back up.

Especially when in a mirror, you need to get maybe 3 Pokemon into the discard. Battle Compressor says hi.

I would advise against using insecticide to protect your aquarium from bugs such as Joltik: five fainted bugs and you’re suddenly dealing with a Joltik capable of doing 200 to most water-dwelling pokemon.

Bring back Night March! I know Mad Party is the same thing, but I like the spooky theme more

I concur. Considering they’ve revealed a card in Japan that seems like a natural counter to Mad Party and Night March, I don’t believe there is an issue with them coexisting in Standard. Nor do I see a problem with them in Expanded. I do think such decks might be a little too good for game health but when compared to the rest of the competitive card pool, they’re so far down there’s no real harm in them existing.
So let’s have a Night March resurgence, and even some new Night Marchers to join them! If the powers-that-be do think it will cause problems in Standard, then we can wait for Ball Juggling, Lost March, and Mad Party to rotate first.
