Yes! Amazing Raikou was already banned in GLC due to this. The thing that could potentially hold this card back is having just 30 HP (Joltik cards usually have 40-50).

How does it work with Gholdengo ex?

Well, one of the best attackers you can power up with Joltik is https://pkmncards.com/card/pikachu-ex-surging-sparks-ssp-247/ , a Pokémon that requires Metal Energy. So Joltik box already runs the energy necessary to attack with https://pkmncards.com/card/gholdengo-ex-prismatic-evolutions-pre-164/. Also, Joltik box can struggle to set up its final attacker since your main form of acceleration is an early game attack. However, Gholdengo ex only needs one Energy attachment and an Item card or two to launch a powerful late-game attack, making it a solid finishing move. Finally, Gholdengo ex’s Ability provides an extra safety blanket against late-game Iono.

I never use gholdengo because of the deck’s focus on basic Pokemon, but the gholdengo aspect is pretty interesting.
