Its Stages of Evolution ability is not exactly grandiose, but it’s actually a really clever way of making its status as a delta pokemon palpable. As with any other Jynx, you would go on faith that the individual pokemon has the non-printed type (psychic, or ice as depicted through the water typing) as well as its printed one. By powering your psychic types alongside your fire types, this card implies that this isn’t simply a Jynx with fire punch: It’s a legitimate fire/psychic Jynx. More thought went into this card that plenty of the other Delta cards, that’s for sure

Plus the red dress kinda makes it look like a possible Fire Type anyway,

I would guess that Jynx is a Fire type Delta Species Pokémon simply because its original name is Rougela, where rouge is the French word for red, and this allows the Pokémon to have a red card.

Stages of Evolution is pretty nice with Banette ex LM, letting you use at least two Shady Move Poké-Powers in a turn (More if you have a Warp Energy or Warp Point). Thanks to Smoochum UF’s Stages of Evolution, you can search out both pieces of Jynx with Holon Mentor and set it up in a single turn. Instant Retreat Aid! (Dodrio JU is one of my favorite Gen 1 cards to play, by the way.)
