One thing I’ve never been able to work out is what the symbol on this and Smoochum HS is supposed to represent. Any ideas?

Midori Harada just had a short phase of over-laying patterns on her paintings. Look at Parasect from HGSS series for another example. I figured this was some mystical mist effect on Jynx… who knows?
(I collect her cards so I pay extra attention to them in particular :P )
