If any basic Energy card attached to Kecleon is the same as the Attacking Pokémon’s type, any damage done by attacks from the Pokémon to Kecleon is reduced by 40 (after applying Weakness and Resistance).

It can freely change its body’s color. The zigzag pattern on its belly doesn’t change, however.

Different effect/mechanic of the Poke-Body on MT Garchomp, but plays around with a similar idea.

Funny how the Poke-Body synchronizes with the attack. Presumably you’d want to direct the 20 recoil damage to Kecleon if the attack fails and you have the boosted defense.

I still think doing 20 to itself would not be canceled. The Poke-Body says “attacks from the Pokémon to Kecleon” and not from Kecleon itself.
