Only a Bisharp that stands above all others in its vast army can evolve into Kingambit.

DaneeBound
Prolly the one art rare in this set, whose flavour reflects its function the most.
Kingambit sits in the back and gives a morale boost to their unevolved minions, which is reinforced by the ability buffing the moves of Basic Pokémon by a bit.
Beetlenade
Why on earth is Kingambit weak to green, in the games it is resistant to grass and takes normal damage from bug, and is completely immune to poison for the few poison types in green.

They’ve kept card weaknesses and resistances fairly consistent over the years. While there were some experimental mechanics during the DP era, that was more than 15 years ago. It’s a straightforward concept, so it’s surprising that some people still struggle with it.
LightYearLiam
Throughout TCG history, Pokemon cards’ weakness & resistance caring about the secondary typing the Pokemon has in the games is the exception rather than the rule, and nowadays I think it’s literally never a factor.
