The larger pincer has 10,000-horsepower strength. However, it is so heavy, it is difficult to aim.

I wish there was a good Kingler.
Krisi92
Me too. I really like Kingler.

Kingler from Crystal Guardians was pretty good at the time of the format, doing 80 for 3 on a stage 1 was pretty nice, and there were a fair amount of tools to support it, especially Cessation Crystal.

I loved that guy! Prop Up Pinchers is his attack, I didn’t even have to look :P It’s just a good name.

Other than a few very marginal differences, this stage 1 pokemon is strictly worse than the best printing of Keldeo.
Ziggmiceter
okay??? this was never a good card, the only similarity between the 2 is that they’re both water types with no resistance?

The point is that powercreep should not be so thorough that a rare evolution that originated from one of the previous generation’s mainline packs (as opposed to a beginner’s pack) would be outperformed across the board by a basic pokemon, even if the rare was jank.

Which Keldeo are you talking about? This is the best printing of Keldeo: https://pkmncards.com/card/keldeo-ex-boundaries-crossed-bcr-49/
None other is very much relevant in competitive play.

I’m treating Keldeo EX as a completely separate pokemon here, as the TCG generally does.
This printing of Keldeo doesn’t see much competitive play; Keldeo EX is the obvious superior option, but this card’s overall statistics (including its low retreat cost) make it “strictly better” than a lot of old cards.

Probably one of the worse examples of power creep I’ve seen. Normally you don’t even have to think when talking about power creep (180HP EXs, etc)
