Even as a hard-core generation one lover, I don’t think KK deserves so much hate just for being an inanimate object: 1) It’s been done in every generation and 2) a series of gears becoming steadily more complex is a pretty cool idea.
It’s just that it’s one ugly mofo.

I’m a fan of Steel Type Pokemon, so it earned a spot on one of my teams.
Also, made a deck with him, Cobalion, Fliptini, Terrakion, and Tornadus.

I saw a guy playing this, Klinklang BW, Kyurem EX and Darkrai EX with a bunch of Prism/Rainbow at Battle Roads. weird, but clever.

Actually, check this out.
Not the same deck, but people everywhere have been using the idea.

I’d seen the idea before on forums, actually. I was just surprised it actually worked. Then again, I managed to go 3-2 with Quad Terrakion in an eel-infested metagame, so that was the least surprising thing of the day.

This deck concept is really cool. My best friend and I both have Shift Gear Klink decks that are in constant rivalry of each other. haha. We added Fire Pkmn to hit for weakness and then added Water Pkmn to counter that. It’s been fun!
