    Is this going to be anything more than something to hold 17 damage counters in Ross?

      I guess you could KO it and ensure you get to use twins for at least one more turn than you otherwise would. But I really can’t think of any decks it would actually work in, which is sad because the other half of this set that isn’t Mewtwo EX is named after him in Japan.

      I could see him slotting into truth variants that use regigigas EX or zekrom EX as an anti-donphan call depending on the metagame. With 4 Prisim, 4 Rainbow, 4 DCE, it wouldn’t be too hard to use him. Also, I can see him serving the place of SEL; to autowin anybody crazy enough to be playing tyram still. Maybe.

          Except the deck still runs a few basic energy. My personal build now runs something like:
          3 rainbow/prism (depends if you want to use plume in desperate situations/like an extra damage counter/use donphan still)
          4 DCE
          5~6 Water

            I was trolling a bit, but the problem remains that scizor or cobalion and a few basic metals can just decimate this deck.

            After Iron Breaker, you kill your active with Damage Swap and kill Cobalion with an attack.

            And then not take prizes for the rest of the game?

            The idea of Ross is to always be able to use Twins and prevent your opponents from using a surprise Black Belt, so koing pokemon with Reuniclus is the way the deck does that.

            I’m pretty sure your opponent will take early game prizes, say maybe two or three, if you give them a free ex KO then you give them two more and lose the energy associated with them, that’s a massive loss in resources. If you don’t believe me then play Ross against a Coke deck and you’ll see what I mean.

      Guess they were just nerfing it then because it would get new forms, showing how much weaker Kyurem-Husk is.
