Huh, nobody’s pointed out how this is a “reprint” of Lanturn HL 38. Same artwork, updated stats/effects. Very cool.

A lot of cards in Celestial Storm are made up of the Champion Road subset, which is entirely comprised of “spiritual reprints” of cards from Neo–late EX era. My personal favorite is probably the reprint of SS Dunsparce.

Oh yeah, I love this reprint. I put it in my cube draft and it was *way* overpowered, so I replaced it with the original! I like how it encourages you to put a few non-lightning energy in the deck, and think ahead about what energy you’re attaching to your Pokemon.
