I wonder if, in Platinum Lickitung, Morii made a brand new clay model, or reused this one?

Yuka Morii’s art was doing some strange stuff in the eCard era. The Aquapolis Hoppip line’s models were superimposed on blurry stock(?) photos, Aquapolis Chinchou’s model was seemingly placed in 3D-modelled underwater ruins, and Aquapolis Lanturn was seemingly photoshopped into a beach photo (but might not be real?), and Skyridge Raichu….I’m not even sure what happened there.

This artwork is probably the oddest — that plant seems to be a 3D model, but is incredibly strange and uncanny. It sorta reminds me of stereograms from the 90s (e.g. those in Magic Eye books).
