   Despite appearing to be a strictly worse card than the other Lt. Surge’s Spearow;
   [1] 20 for {C} is often better than Whirlwind for {C}
   [2] There’s something I remember recently reading about this card being decent bait to kill Fossil Ditto. The idea would be to get even a single 10 damage count on Ditto, and then switch this card in, attack it, and it dies. Other cards with 30 HP, 20-for-a-single-Energy, and free Retreat Cost¹ that would be relevant to the era in question include, but may not be limited to, Base Set Rattata, Base Set Abra², WBSP11 Eevee, SI Mew³, and N2 Hoppip⁴.

   ¹ Not necessary for the sake of being a cheap Ditto killer, but it helps.
   ² Abra is only doing 10 damage, but Ditto will copy Abra’s weakness to {P}, meaning Psyshock will effectively do 20.
   ³ It’s doing it as an effect so it’s a bit dicey, but given Ditto will be copying said Mew, who doesn’t have any protections against it, you should be fine.
   ⁴ There seems to actually be only so many cards subsequent that satisfy this criteria, which is a bit surprising, but || hp:30 text:”20″ rc:0 || might have some gaps I’m overlooking (e.g. Base Set Abra wasn’t caught in this search).
