It’s interesting that this card and Meloetta from the same set both show the same Tag Team. I get that Lucario shows GG because of 4th Generation solidarity, but why does Meloetta?

Mmm, I don’t think it’s a solidarity thing, it’s just that the cards in question have Abilities and/or attacks that interact with TAG TEAM Pokémon in one way or another. The Kangaskhan and Drifblim cards in this set evidently have Raichu & Alolan Raichu GX in their artwork for the same reason.

Odd how Cosmic Eclipse Mawile continues this trend but Cosmic Eclipse Sylveon doesn’t — Sylveon would’ve looked great with Mega Lopunny and Jigglypuff!

This ability is good, but did it make much of a difference? 20 damage isn’t much. It can stack, which is nice, but it’s on a Stage 1. Which is not so nice.
