Poké-POWER ⇢ Swing Dance
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may draw a card. This power can’t be used if Ludicolo is affected by a Special Condition.
{W} → Healing Steps : 30
You may discard as many cards as you like from your hand. If you do, remove that many damage counters from Ludicolo.
{W}{C}{C} → Circular Steps : 10×
Does 10 damage times the number of Pokémon in play (both yours and your opponent’s), excluding Ludicolo.

This card was a real powerhouse together with Smooth Over Magcargo back in the day. At the beginning of the year (when I got back into the game) I took my old deck to league and was taken to pieces by everything. This was an extremely consistent deck I had won tournaments with in the past. That was when I realized the real extent of the power creep present in the game.

It’s a shame isn’t it? Used to love Ludicargo. I think Ludicolo is probably still playable in 150, I’m already brewing a deck list >_< Holon Circle to go with the Platinum one, Large cloak to go with the healing ones, and of course Magcargo to go with this one.

Ludicolo seems like underpowered Empoleon, but it might be as good as Empoleon or better for its time, IDK.

You’re forgetting when this card was printed and the power-creep as explained by number473. It’s gotten really bad and considering how the most powerful cards in the game are all basics right now. It kind of goes against what variety the TCG was supposed to bring by adding evolutions to counter powerful basics, making a trade-off in speed and power.

That’s why I indicated that it was better than Empoleon for its time. Read the fine print.

Sorry, was tired, only read the first part. My bad.

With Scramble Energy and Double Rainbow Energy around, this was extremely good.
