The Skyridge version of this card instructed you to reveal the Evolution Pokémon cards to your opponent–but this version does not!

The apparent difference in text is presumably a language convention of the English game since the discard pile is public knowledge. For the JP game, the SM6b print is considered functionally identical to the original card with no real function difference in the text of the card (see below)¹, and for the EN game it was ruled identical as well².
¹ Formal JP play formats don’t really have any scenarios where they’d have to issue a ruling on clarity, as officially their equivalent of an unlimited format doesn’t seem to start until DP1 at the earliest (but hypothetically everything VS-and-up should be compatible), but ポケモンWiki considers it a functional reprint of the exact same card³. Cicumstances mean that ポケモンWiki has a much better understanding of card equivalency than WOTC or PUSA did, and since TPCI seems to want to continue to try and entertain PUSA (and even WOTC!) rulings on certain matters…
