The new Ninetales has the same power, but it won’t be as game breaking with Catcher in the format.

It will be the death of Vileplume though.

Good riddance. Oh, the woes of a fast deck fan in a trainer lock heavy metagame. Finally I can use my Catchers, Plus Powers, Dual Balls and Junk Arms in peace.

I appreciated the diversity. There isn’t much of a choice anymore: You have to play a fast deck if you want to win. Setup decks don’t stand a chance.

I did too. I played through the entirety of Cities season without playing against the same deck twice (Except for tyRam and VVV, which were piloted by the same players,) yet for regionals and states, I had friends who had only run into CMT and Zeels the entire time. Tournaments are more enjoyable when you face a greater variety of decks.

i think we can all agree that HS-NVI was the best format we’ve had in a while, at least since MD-CoL.

I wish I could have bought a Lux X for $2 last year. Even the World Championship one was $20.

It was expensive when it was legal. Arguably the best Pokémon in format in its time.

Unlimited refers to the gameplay format in which every card in the game is legal to use. In the TCG, every year or so, several older sets are rotated from competitive play.Currently, only cards from the Boundaries Crossed expansion and onward are legal. Rising Rivals was rotated in 2011, and thus this card is no longer in format. Back when it was legal, it was a very expensive card, due to its usefulness in multiple popular decks. Now that it is no longer allowed, there is much less demand for this card and is now much less expensive.

to add to that, most of the time now people buy it to build decks from the time

If I’m playing against a Power Spray deck, do I have to tell my opponent which benched Pokemon I want to switch in before they decide to Power Spray or not?

Nope, you don’t have to. Any effects of the Power (including any choices you’d make for those effects) would only happen after you actually start using that Power, so the decision to Power Spray happens before any of that.
