Perhaps it’s wishful thinking, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Mega Evolution Pokémon return to the game as V cards. Perhaps even as secret rares in the Pokémon GO set. After all, mega evolutions are still a big part of the GO game that they’re rolling out (Mega Latios and Mega Latias were just released).

Alas!

At least in Celebrations we got a reprint of M Rayquaza-𝙀𝙓.

Besides ‘zard, I think that only four other Pokemon had multiple Mega-Evolution-𝙀𝙓 cards: Blastoise, Venusaur, Gardevoir, and Rayquaza.

Can’t forget Mewtwo. Unless you mean multiple cards for the same form.

Ah, I forgot Mewtwo! D’oh.
The design and pacing of Gen 6 sets feels very… haphazard. Gen 8 paced the timing of 𝙑𝙈𝘼𝙓 cards much more methodically, and thus we got every “Gigantamax” ‘mon except Hatterene!

I’m wondering if they were expecting Mega Evolutions to continue being supported in the main games, so they weren’t rushing to get them all out?

Also except Appletun, but of course Hatterene hurts a lot more since Appletun’s Gigantamax is the same as Flapple’s.
poor hatterene :(
