GIven the fact that this is a stage 1 (even if it CAN evolve), I saw the “20+” on Knock Away and expected some excruciating side effect. “If heads, this attack does 30 damage to each of your opponent’s pokemon. ” “If heads, remove two energy cards from the defending pokemon and this attack does 20 more damage.” “If heads,your opponent discards three cards.”
But no, the attack just does an average of 30 damage.
I understand that this is a mid evolution (and that magneton was a final evolution before gen 4) but this card is virtually useless and only exists as filler to make rares and ultra rares look better. Even Lombre from the same set is an off-color alternative that is essentially better.
In my opinion, uncommons like this should be at LEAST as interesting as this set’s Piloswine.
