While elegantly swimming in the sea, it ignores Remoraid that cling to its fins seeking food scraps.

· This Ability is a very blink-and-you’ll-miss-it reference to an entire game mode of the same name in Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.
· There doesn’t appear to be any Remoraid attached to this Mantine. Very much in line with video game depictions of Mantine from DP-onwards, but out of place for the TCG. Barring any Mantine in the background of cards (where it isn’t always clear¹ʼ²), this was the first such Mantine [and as of March 2023, I believe still is] on a card to go without a Remoraid attached. (See also: Twylis’ comment on Mantine δ, which documents the last appearance of the original design of Remoraid that are attached to a Mantine.)
¹ e.g. the “second” Mantine in N4 Mantine‘s artwork *might not* have a Remoraid attached. We can’t see.
² e.g. the leftmost Mantine in AOR Vaporeon *might not* have a Remoraid attached. I am vaguely sure I see one attached, but it’s not terrifically obvious.
