Suspiciously cheese shaped
Back before I ever got into competitive Pokémon, I used to, every once in a while, collect Pokémon cards and this was one of them. This was my first time finding out about the Pokémon “Maractus”. I really liked the art and, eventually, I really liked the rest of the card too. You see, I had tried to (and failed to) build Pokemon decks using the few cards I had from pack to play with myself (I didn’t have many friends, ok). I found this card particularly powerful. I remember thinking “wow, this second attack is really broken” (in hindsight, it wasn’t). I don’t really know how, but me liking this card somehow evolved into Maractus becoming my favorite Pokémon. Even now, I am typing this on my phone, which has a Maractus card behind the case (https://pkmncards.com/card/maractus-journey-together-jtg-160/)!
What I’m trying to say is, I really love this card and it means a lot to me. And I hope you might like this card as well!
