There are currently no regular Charizard cards legal in the standard format, right? (H-on) Just mega Charizards. That has got to be a first.

I have a general question.
Which Mega evolution cards do you think were better game-wise ? The old EX era cards or the new ex ones ?

The new ones by a large margin. They still suck, but ANYTHING is better than ending your turn upon evolution, and then relying on specific gimmick tools to circumvent that

Fair point. But the current ones give out 3 prize cards instead of 2 like the previous ones. And the “basic” mega pokemons have less hp compared to the fully-evolved regular ex. Seems pretty unbalanced. Then the 3 stage ones have to take an extra turn for evolving if you don’t have a rare candy.
