This card looks like it might actually have been good? Getting three Lv.X Pokemon (which are functionally Stage 1s) into play is definitely not the hardest feat to pull off!!

Nope! An important distinction between Stage 1’s & Lv.X’s is that a Pokémon must be in the Active spot to level up, meaning that this deck took considerable time to set-up & even when it did could only attack every other turn due to the discard cost. It was a cute strategy but not meta-defining.
