Damage done by attacks to the Pokémon that Metal Energy attached to is reduced by 10 (after applying Weakness and Resistance). Ignore this effect if the Pokémon that Metal Energy is attached to isn’t {M}. Metal Energy provides {M} Energy. (Doesn’t count as a basic Energy card.)

I just realized something. there are no Special Darks or Metals in any Black & White era set. Meaning that if we don’t get them in the next two sets and we get a BW-on rotation after Worlds, we could be playing the first ever format where Dark and Metal exist as types but do not have a special version of their energy. That could explain the lack of a special Dragon energy.

Or if we get one BEFORE worlds.

Special Dark/ Metal or a rotation? I doubt we’re getting another midseason rotation, as the last one happened because the “trainers on turn 1” rule broke Sableye. I really don’t see anything we currently have getting broken that easily.
Although having a BW promo for Special Dark and Special Metal would be nice.

I would be unhappy if they dropped the ball on Spc Energy cards for Metal and Dark.
My friend thinks that the new Dark Items (Claw and Patch) were made as a replacement to Spc Energy. If this is so, then expect a future BW set to support Metal Type.
