It feels like way too many Mew cards came out in the SWSH era. (A counterpoint would be that ADV+PCG also has what I’d consider to be “too many Mew”, and that era doesn’t even have the excuse of most of them being alt arts.)

That’s four mechanically distinct Mews in the SwSh era. And even that’s stretching it a little bit, considering two of those (Fusion Strike Mew V and Mew VMAX) are designed to work together.
The SM and XY eras also have four mechanically distinct Mews each. and none of the other eras since PCG have even come close.
