Why would they ban it? If they were to ban it, they lost their chance before Regionals of last year.

Well… I’m not sure. It was only based on chance, and it was only awesome because of an error, plus it WAS banned at one point, so… And if somebody has a Mewtwo ex out, no Slowking is going to stop it.

It’s not broken because it has a perfect counter, itself. A mewtwo sweep can easily be stopped by another Mewtwo. Trust, me this card balances itself.

Juniper and N aren’t banned because if either was, we’d have two draw supporters in the game, neither one good. Decks would be kinda slow.
Catcher isn’t banned because it keeps things like Musharna NXD from being in decks.
Mewtwo isn’t banned because, well, not every deck plays it. In fact, only Eels and Ho-oh decks do. And now there’s Siglyph, so it isn’t as broken as it used to be.

How is making a card unplayable a good thing? Catcher is indeed a very powerful card, but making certain cards nonviable is one of its worst features.

I think the prices alone should give you an idea of how broken it is. When it was its only effective counter, decks would have to field it (and thus buy it) to counter it, and other decks in return would have to field even MORE mewtwo EX to counter THOSE Mewtwo EX.

So, Deoxys EX is basically a remixed version of this card with a more inconsistent X-Ball that requires a psychic energy, no psydrive, and an ability that helps team plasma pokemon earlygame.
