yea but Lost gar only ended up failing because it was all about lost zone and was a stage 2.. this is a powerful Basic that can fit into multiple decks due to its first attack and.. and will change psychic decks forever because they usually lack actual power .. i dont think its worth 65 but i dont think it will be lost gar

First of all, dude, I was just kidding, lighten up.

Second of all, it MAY end up like LostGar. Sure, LostGar relied on Stage 2s, but that was in the MD-on format, the format in which Stage Twos could actually donk. Remember Machamp? Remember Kingdra? Jumpluff? How about Gengar SF? Any of those ring a bell? Even unplayed ones like Rampardos and Poliwrath could donk. I’m not saying Mewtwo WILL be the next Lostgar, but you shouldn’t say it won’t be.

and i agree that i cant say it wont be i was just stating my opinion..and i agree with you stage 2 doesnt make a card suck..I was only saying in a metagame with so many broken basics i think he may make a good addition ..thats it

I actually didn’t play the last couple formats, I only barely caught the end of MD- on. What exactly did that do?

          • Pokémon 31337 Curtis

Just the same as Gardevoir would do now, but as in grass energy on grass types are doubled. It’s attack does 50 for 4(2) energy, and a coin flip. If heads, it would deal 20 more damage. It’s from Great Encounters I believe, and I heard there was also a Meganium with a poke-power like that, but still didn’t find it.

170hp and 190 (with an eviolite or a defender) is the same amount of energy lost burned to magnezone. Means nothing to him. Actually, as the magnezone player, i’d prefer you waste resources on mewtwo if I get to ohko him regardless.

Wouldn’t a Hoppip vs. Hoppip battle tear the fabric of space and time, though?

There is a very slight possibility that I’m thinking of another Pokemon or two, but I think it’s Hoppip that has that capability.

          • AnonymousAnonymous

If that were true, it already would have happened because Hoppip is a common and is so easy to get. Those fools made it a COMMON! But then people would be afraid to play Hoppip because it would tear up space and time. Hoppip is so broken it breaks other things.

Its Black and White Pokedex entry actually contains a mistake:

“It drifts on winds. It is said that when Hoppip gather in fields and mountains, spring is on the way.”

I’m sure they meant to replace “spring” with “apocalypse.”
