Ambassador
This card is one of those neat ones that help to quantify power creep across the generations. The ‘original version’ of this card, Mr. Mime ex FRLG111, and its counterpart, Mr. Mime ex FRLG110, cover the gamut from 10–180 damage. Mr. Mime GX CES173 and its counterpart, Mr. Mime GX TEU67, cover the gamut from 10-260 damage. Doing very lazy and inaccurate math, that means the game was balanced for a hypothetical damage cap increase of about 20 per era for generations 4, 5, 6, and 7.
Warnock 2022
Mr. Mime took UF Jynx on a date and tried to put the moves on her. But to his chagrin, her Poke-Body rendered all his moves ineffective.
