It uses its hard incisor teeth to crush and eat berries. The tip of a female Nidoran’s horn is a bit more rounded than the tip of a male’s horn.

There are a handful of cards in 151 that are throwbacks to their original artwork in the TCG, e.g.: Squirtle, Charmander, Weedle, Bulbasaur, Exeggutor… I believe this one was intentionally similar, too

I’m aware of these. I don’t find it similar. The background on the other was a lot more developed, and in this case even the color palette isn’t as green as the original. Also, the other ones were all Mitsuhiro Arita illustrations, this one was a Ken Sugimori one, and some of these (this one included) have very abstract background.
