Ability ⇢ Adrena-Power
If this Pokémon has any {D} Energy attached, it gets +100 HP, and the attacks it uses do 100 more damage to your opponent’s Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

Okidogi is a ruffian with a short temper. It can pulverize anything by swinging around the chain on its neck.

If this has Unit Energy {F}{D}{Y} attached plus a basic {F} energy, can it use Good Punch while also getting the Adrena-Power boost?
GeneralTeng09
Yes.
Jack
It can’t, because Unit Energy FDY “provides only 1 Energy at a time” – so in addition to the attached Basic Fighting Energy, it could only provide either Fighting Energy or Darkness Energy, but not both. As such, if it was used to provide Fighting Energy in order to attack, the Ability wouldn’t be active, as it’d have no Darkness Energy attached at that time.
Richard
I thought it can? A Darkness Energy is still attached, even if it is not available to be used for attacks
Gaardus
Yeah, Unit Energy provides a single unit of energy, but that one energy is all three types simultaneously. See these rulings on Luminous, Aurora, and Rainbow Energy:

Thanks for linking Compendium; this is the correct answer (so the answer to the original question is “yes”). The “provides only 1 Energy at a time” clause on the Unit Energies is just to clarify that the card only fulfills 1 Energy cost, and no more than that. So if some hypothetical attack costs {F}{D}, then a single Unit Energy {F}{D}{Y} isn’t sufficient to pay the cost.

They can only provide one at a time.

Is there any way we could get lists for the trick-or-trade? Those are some beautiful holos.

I use luminous energy in my Loyal Three deck.
