· As has been noted on this site on several cards, N2 Omanyte, N2 Kabuto, and N2 Fossil Egg seem to have been the first cards to offer you the ability to place Evolution cards on your Bench as if they were Basic Pokémon. While the effect would eventually get expand to being featured on other cards, it was for a long while exclusively a Mysterious-Fossil-and-other-Fossil-friends effect. I don’t think it’s a surprise to see the mechanic return here.
· Omastar having a vendetta against Evolution cards is another trope, one which began with N4 Dark Omastar, and was reinforced on several subsequent Omastar, including SS Omastar, MD Omastar, and AR Omastar.
