{C} → Evomancy
For each Energy attached to this Pokémon, search your deck for a Stage 2 Pokémon, except Orbeetle, and put it onto your Bench. Then, shuffle your deck.

It emits psychic energy to observe and study what’s around it—and what’s around it can include things over six miles away.

Love attacks like Evomancy, will be interesting to see this card in the future of Standard and Expanded.

if you attach DCE/Twin Energy turn 1 and Triple Acceleration Energy turn 2, and use Evomancy that turn, you can grab 5 Stage 2’s. Not a practical or consistent solution but it seems like fun BDM material.

From testing Lifesplosion’ Cradily (PLB 4) from back in the day, the key is to find as many Stage 2’s that would not be seen together consistently, mainly ones with strong support abilities like Reuniclus (BLW 57) with Damage Swap, etc.
It’s a fun challenge because if you’re not running a bunch of Stage 2 techs, you might as well have just run a deck dedicated to the 1 or 2 Stage 2’s with Rare Candy, etc.

I wonder why you’re not allowed to search for Orbeetle with that attack. Just to make building an Orbeetle deck harder?

My guess is to future proof the card, in case a really strong Orbeetle is released later. Then this Orbeetle might create a sort of Greninja BREAK style deck unintentionally. It’s not like stage 2s are exactly setting the format alight, though, so it doesn’t really seem necessary.

Could be fun with the new Poliwrath and Politoed
