Obsidian Flames Trevenant has a similar Ability–but the passive damage counter is limited to your opponent’s ACTIVE Pokemon :)

I think the intended use of Trev is to use the Claydol in the set to put the opponent’s active down to 10, then promote Trev to replace the now knocked out Claydol. I doubt it’ll be used for that though, since it’s probably better to pair Claydol with Paldean Clodsire and then promote something like Klefki.
Anyways Orbeetle is one of my favourite pokémon ever and the art on this card is top tier. I play Orbeetle a bit in expanded because it’s fun (but definitely doesn’t compete well with most expanded decks lol)
