It’s always been funny to me how Jet Punch went full circle. Buzzwole-GX introduced the world to the attack named Jet Punch, several years later it became a real attack with Palafin, and then when Palafin became a card for the first time, it got the exact same Jet Punch from Buzzwole!

The same thing actually happened with Alolan Dugtrio UPR and Gholdengo ex, only in a more convoluted way. Alolan Dugtrio had the Gold Rush attack, which would eventually become Gholdengo’s signature move in the video games. But the video games translated Gholdengo’s signature move as Make it Rain, which led to the TCG also translating Gholdengo ex’s attack as Make it Rain.
