It’s funny that this set only has 3 AR (art rare cards). I believe that the Japanese set had 4 (the fourth being Mimikyu, which was cut to become a promo in the ETB)

Either way, the pull rates for those few AR’s were so high that they’ve never costed that much. I think the set could have used with at least eight more of these.

It’s so, so sad how such great art had to be of one of the absolute worst Gen 9 Pokémon (maybe of all time too?), conceptually and visually. I guess that explains the <$1 value this card is sitting at.
Dusk Mage Necrozma
Well visually is subjective, but conceptually it’s brilliant. It’s the classic trope of a superhero having a secret identity, hence why its base form looks almost identical to its pre-evolution.
