They fight at Bisharp’s command. They cling to their prey and inflict damage by sinking their blades into it.

I should be allowed to have eight of these in my deck.
reshikrom64
Imagine eight Durants though…o.0
coolestman22
Not any pokemon. Just Pawniards.
Chess reference.
feyblade
Well, outside of the US, all of its names are related to stabbing cutting and fighting things. While it would be conceptually cool to allow it to “promote” into a bishop, rook, or knight, the naming scheme would not apply to the other nations (Bisharp’s german name, for example, alludes to Caesar.)
Still, I can’t help but associate these things with chess pieces
Quarter-Turn
What deck would you play if you could never flip tails?
coolestman22
CUBONE RUSH.
Quarter-Turn
But after your DCEs get ruined by Crushing Hammer heads, you have to attach manually, which means you’d lose to Pawniard Rush or Exeggcute Rush or whatever.
Hm… Maybe Blitzle NV 35… but that loses to Eviolite.
coolestman22
CUBONE RUSH WITH VILEPLUME.
Curtis
Then you lose out on Eviolite and Junk Arm and slow down your tanking ability considerably. Ultra Ball helps now, too.
Quarter-Turn
You guys… Cubone can’t tank in an all-heads-all-the-time format. Pawniard or opposing Cubone will roll straight through you with infinity damage.
Curtis
Who says you’re opponent is playing a flippy deck as well? They could be playing something normal and the all heads rule came up in a metronome tournament.
Besides, Rocket’s Himonchan is BCIF in an all heads format anyway.
coolestman22
That’s what I had realized.
WilliamH.
Audino ROFL.
Quarter-Turn
Cinccino NXD, that’s what I’d play!
