This card, as well as an axew and a pansage, were 1 of 3 random promos you could get in a product that was exclusive to toys r us for a very limited period, designed to coincide with a mystery gift which also gave an egg containing one of the three. I imagine not too many of these actually exist.

That could be it. It could be that due to it being a Toys R Us exclusive, it might’ve affected the price. Although, was this card ever that expensive or did it’s price recently go up?

From what I can tell, there’s not much record of this card’s value before 2022? I have no idea how to find card prices from before 2020 :P can anyone here looking at this help me out??
This card though is extraordinarily obscure. Most people don’t know it exists, so while it’s rare and valuable, demand is very low (also it’s pidove…)
This seems like the type of card that hardly has a set value, both supply and demand are so low that the market price could easily cut down to 10 or jump up to 100 depending on what kind of mood the buyers/sellers of this card are in.

The pricing is pretty much due to it being an exclusive to toys r us during a time when Pokemon wasn’t as popular so there weren’t as many units containing these promos sold.
