It’s kind of daft that the previous set took out Ampharos 𝒆𝒙 to put it in an English theme deck, but for this set they’ve taken a Pikachu 𝒆𝒙 from a Japanese theme deck and shoved it into this set, in the middle of a normal Pikachu and a Raichu that can’t evolve from this card.. In other words, it’s the second set in a row where tinkering is going to make things look stupid in your binder – the last set has an unnecessarily truncated evolution line, and now this one has an unnecessarily interrupted evolution line.
