Spelling “Grey” with an E is a unique case of the TCG using British English over American English. Of course, this is just to match the painting this card is based on, “Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat”.

Van Gogh was Dutch so the original name of the painting is “Zelfportret met grijze vilthoed” and it is not matching that.

I’m aware, but the Van Gogh Museum has “official” English translations of the painting titles (as official as something that was created posthumously can be, anyway), which consistently use British English. As this card was created for the museum, it makes sense to match their conventions.

It cannot evolve into Raichu, as its name is “Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat” and Raichu evolves from a card whose name is exactly “Pikachu.”
