{L}{L}{L} → Full Blitz : 150
Search your deck for up to 3 {L} Energy cards and attach them to 1 of your Pokémon. Then, shuffle your deck.
{L}{L}{L}{+} → Tag Bolt-GX : 200
If this Pokémon has at least 3 extra {L} Energy attached to it (in addition to this attack’s cost), this attack does 170 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
· TAG TEAM rule: When your TAG TEAM is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards.

Warnock 2022
I wonder if the release of Tag Team cards in 2019, breaking the 3-prize barrier, was a way to “prime the meta” for the release of VMAX cards in 2020? It makes intuitive sense that a BIG BOI dynamax card would cough up 3 prizes instead of 2. I can imagine the TCG creators wanted to get everyone ready for this big change, so the tag team concept was a creative way of getting there.

And I wonder if the original logic behind tag teams was, “one Pokémon is big and mighty and worth 2 prizes, and the other is wee and frail and only worth 1 prize.” That concept definitely seems to hold with this team, Wailord & Magikarp-GX, and the Kanto starter tag teams in Cosmic Eclipse.
(But it doesn’t hold as much water as an idea when you consider Psyduck & Slowpoke-GX, haha)

Rowlet and Alolan Exeggutor-GX was another fun one of mismatched power levels :)
