This WOULD be a powerful card in a TCG where searches and draws aren’t as common and cheap as they are here. Can combo with Alph Lithograph ,though

I always had a soft spot for this (and similar cards in other TCGs like Big Eye in YGO), but it seems few others do.

This card is known as Pokédex HANDY505 in Japan – the EN TCG didn’t start seeing the model number annotation in the names of the Pokédex until FRLG’s PokéDex HANDY909, but they’ve been there from the start. It’d be neat if they brought Pokédex back and handled it the way they currently do the Boss’ Orders and Professor’s Research cards, but with the introduction of that blasted Rotom Dex, who’s to say if the good old Pokédex will ever return, in any form?
