   I’ve been thinking about this ever since the Rare Candy nerf, but you could use this with Broken Time-Space · Platinum (PL) #104 in unlimted to get a T1 Stage 2 and skip the stage one. I looked up the ruling, and it works this way with Giovanni · Gym Challenge (G2) #104.

     Nope, sorry, it works the same way as Rare Candy. You can use it if you’re “allowed” to evolve the Pokemon. In other words, if you just played the card down, you can’t use Pokemon Breeder or if it’s your first turn, you can’t use Pokemon Breeder either.

     You can use BTS with Wally · Roaring Skies (ROS) #94 as well as with Dark Dragonair. Since those cards bypass the evolution ruling.

       Due to Rare Candy being errata’d and the rule that you must use the latest text of a reprinted Trainer card in Unlimited, all rare candy cards have the exact text “You can’t use this card during your first turn or on a Basic Pokémon that was put into play this turn.” on them. This prevents them from being used with BTS. Breeder has no such text, so can be used with BTS.

         And looking it up, Pokémon Breeder has been reprinted to a much worse card that has nothing to do with evolving, so is irrelevant to BTS altogether.

           Actually, the new Pokemon Breeder doesn’t count as a reprint. The text change is completely different from the old one. Unlike Bill, Erika, and Computer Search which have the same text as their older versions, other Trainer cards like Pokémon Center and Pokemon Breeder that share the same name but have different text flavor don’t count as reprints. The text flavor of those cards have been heavily altered. If they were to share the same text flavor then yes they would have definitely count as reprints.

   I don’t think that’s right. You were allowed to Breeder T1 under the effect of Giovanni at the time, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work with BTS.
