Everything about this card causes me pain… fair enough that it didn’t use the original e-Card template, it would have stuck out like a sore thumb (just like it does in the Japanese version), but could they not have used the same template as Rocket’s Admin? That at least uses the non-e variant of the EX series’ card template. Heck, this card even used that same template in the Worlds 2004 decks.
So, the icky template is one thing, but what’s almost worse is that they’ve put the illustrator name in the bottom-right corner, when it should be just under the illustration. You know, like it is on Rocket’s Admin and every other Trainer card in the EX series. And what’s definitely worse than that is the font and style used in the effect box. I’ve seen fakes and fan-made creations look way better than that.
