Pokémon-GX and Pokémon-EX in play (both yours and your opponent’s) have no Abilities.
· Stadium rule: This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can’t play this card.

Why is this card a Power Plant? Is it because the powers don’t work in here? Compared to the original Power Plant card this one doesn’t seem to make much sense. A recurring theme in my opinion with card design these days. Granted, it goes both ways, with cards like Meteor Falls not really making thematic sense, while “Shrine of Memories” is obviously a superior card flavor wise.

I’d like to say only because the Let’s Go Games were big at the time, but they didn’t use the other 3 Legendary Locations as Stadiums (Seafoam Islands, Victory Road/Mt. Ember, Cerulean Cave), in which all of the EX’s until Excadrill/Chandelure were Legendaries. So I guess it was a stretch-pun since Abilities are the new form of Poke-Powers.
