· For the English edition of the TCG, this is the first time a (non-Full Art) Trainer ‘breaks’ the border of the card. As far as I can think, Japan had done it at least once before with the Dance! Neo Imakuni? card¹, but this might have been the first time a tournament legal Trainer card did this.
· The artwork might be a nod to Professor Oak’s Research – the first “Professor’s Search” card, at least in name.
