You may play 2 Puzzle of Time cards at once.
- If you played 1 card, look at the top 3 cards of your deck and put them back in any order.
- If you played 2 cards, put 2 cards from your discard pile into your hand.
· Item rule: You may play as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).

At some point in the future, you can bet that there will be a Pokemon with an ability that says: “Whenever you play an item card, [Do X],” where X is a beneficial thing. That’ll be interesting.

Hopefully it comes at the same time as countermagic and other instant-speed interactivity-increasing effects.

This is really, really, really good.

Here’s a sample decklist from 2017 that features this item. Running four copies of it was very important! https://archive.ph/POnJQ

Description is missing the “You may play 2 Puzzle of time cards at once.” line.

Is one of the reasons this is really good is they accidentally allowed you to if you play 2 you get both effects?
JP
Nope it’s just good because the 2nd effect is really good! In particular it was a staple in Zoroark-GX decks, since if you had one Puzzle in hand you could try to Trade into the other one (as opposed to, say, playing a Supporter like N or Sycamore that would result in you losing the Puzzle in your hand).
JP
For additional synergy decks also played Mallow, which would *guarantee* the other Puzzle at the top of your deck, which you could then Trade into!
