    Generally I’m not a fan of the modern artworks for the TCG; they seem very saturated and “unartsy” imo. It works very well here, however!

      Yes, many of the artworks are pretty boring, like this one, but there are also many that i like (https://pkmncards.com/card/meloetta-breakthrough-bkt-85/). I cant say that the old artworks are better, they simply use anothe style. I think its easy to blame digital art and that the artist arent putting heart and soul into the artworks. If i take an random artists like Shin Nagasawa i can see that he made artwork for both EX emerald and this card and that he made artwork for 9 cards in EX emerald and only 4 cards in Fates Collide
