Goldenrod City is the Pokemon universe’s equivalent of Osaka in Japan. In turn, its Radio Tower is based off of Tsutenkaku. This render of the Tower, rather than being reminiscent of the Radio Tower’s appearance in the games or the anime, looks closer to the original Tsutenkaku that burned down in a fire in 1943.
