Unidentified Fossil can still be affected by Special Conditions but this card cannot!
This is a return to form; all fossil cards from Gens 1-4 were also immune from special conditions 😴 ☠ 🥵 🥶

This really is a rare fossil, since almost all of the other fossil trainer cards have been printed more than once, and the contemporary Unidentified Fossil was reprinted 7 times both before and after this one.

I do wonder how the Galar Fossils would be handled in the current mechanic of Fossil Pokemon since both the TCG and TCG Pocket have reverted back to the Gen 4 style (every Fossil Pokemon evolving from its own Fossil Item). I’d say let them continue evolving from a single Item. Keeps them feeling distinct without getting too awkward like by actually requiring the 2 different Fossils to put them into play. You could also say it’d be a throwback to Gen 3 when we had a mix of shared fossils for Kanto and unique fossils for Hoenn.
