With its long fangs, this surprisingly violent Pokémon can gnaw away even thick concrete with ease.

This little fellow’s super fangs are scaring you?
Wait until you realize that a team plasma grunt is right behind you with a Hypnotoxic Laser behind your back.

If this pokemon has a damage enhancer (such as strong energy, or a pokemon tool) attached, does this KO the active?
erik
Unfortunately not. Those type of effects increase damage dealt, while this attack just places damage counters. In order to increase damage with a tool like that, the attack needs to deal regular damage, and not place damage counters as the effect of an attack.
As mentioned 8 years ago, a Hypnotoxic Laser or another poison effect are good combos with this Raticate.

I think the one advantage VIV Shedinja has over this card is that it’s a Basic — its version of Super Fang can be accessed by FCO Mew, PGO Ditto, and Marshadow GX.
