Ice-types in the TCG often has Steel-weakness like in the video games

Then why is Ice SE against nothing in the TCG? Why did they decide to make Dragon weak to Colorless instead of Water (Ice) and then later Fairy?!

Probably because in the games, Dragon-types are resistant to Water attacks. Cradily ex from EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua does have a Water weakness, however, due to its Ice weakness.

But that’s like saying pre-Gen 4 Psychic Types can’t be weak to Ghost Types, because they resist both Poison and Psychic!

There are Fighting type Pokemon in the TCG (which are Ground-type in the videogames) that are weak to Water (representing an Ice weakness)…and we know those aren’t just due to them also being weak to Water, because some of those like Flygon SW and Torterra SF aren’t weak to Water in the videogames.

Ah, OK I guess that makes sense.
